Company Policy

Bodegas Barón , as a winery established within the “Jerez-Xérès-Sherry” and “Manzanilla de Sanlúcar” framework, adopts the following commitments in its Quality and Food Safety policy:

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as our customers' requirements regarding quality and safety.
  • Working for the client in order to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Open internal and external communication channels to respond to information requests related to the food safety management system and to foster ideas
  • That all staff have ongoing training in food safety, providing the means and facilities that allow them to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Monitor suppliers to ensure that raw materials and products meet our required standards.
  • Ensure that competencies (functions and responsibilities) are clearly communicated within each company activity.
  • Maintain the integrity of the food hygiene system when planning and implementing any changes.
  • Verify that controls are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and that the documentation is up to date.
  • Ensure that staff receive adequate training and supervision.
  • Promote the continuous improvement of the company's food safety management system, taking into account, where appropriate, developments in science, technology and best practices.
